WHY BUY KRAISSL VALVES?

An important consideration in selecting transfer valves is performance over the life of the valve, not just initially. We offer the following advantages to our design:

  1. Kraissl valves have been time tested in this application for over 30 years
  2. Our tapered valve plug design self compensates for temperature variations and other operating variables including water
  3. Our rugged, all-cast body construction avoids weld failures and potential non-uniformity of fabricated design
  4. Metal to metal contact of sealing surfaces (rather than non-metallic parts which are subject to deterioration) are more likely to minimize seepage over the life of the valve
  5. Kraissl valves provide a consistent design for many sizes and pressure ratings
  6. Kraissl valves provide straight through port alignment for the single port inlet & outlet
  7. Kraissl valve stem packing can be serviced with the valve “in line” without complete valve disassembly
  8. Kraissl patented design features prevent improper re-assembly if the valve is disassembled - this prevents inadvertent shut off position by virtue of improper assembly
  9. The Kraissl lifting jack (seating device) is simple and external for easy service - there are no internal linkages involved
  10. Each Kraissl valve is tested and serial numbered for accountability and traceability - the test results are attached to each valve, provided with each shipment - special tests other than our standard test conditions can also be arranged when specified
